low id at emule

hi,
i have a problem with asl 5.100 and emule. i become a low id but i have configured a service with source 1:65635 and destination 4662:4672. packet filter rules are configured source=my client, service=what i configured, dest=any and a second rule reverse.
where to the hell are the failure???????

    Are you DNATing the incoming ports?

    I think there are a couple more ports you need to allow as well.
    And some are TCP and some are UDP.
    Read the eMule docs.

    Have the same problem on Astaro V5.100.

    Defined a service using 
    TCP 1024:65535 4662
    UDP 1:65535 4672
    UDP 1024:65535 4665
    TCP 1024:65535 4661
    (found elsewhere in this forum)

    and added 
    TCP 4662 1024:65535
    UDP 4672 1024:65535
    (suggested by eMule help),

    grouped all that to one service and defined a DNAT/SNAT rule for "any" source addresses to "external (address)" using "eMule" service, changing the destination to my eMule PC (which I configured with a static IP and defined it among my networks).

    A pair of packet filter rules allows all packets using eMule service to go to or come in from my external address to my eMule client PC.

    Allthough I told my eMule to use my SOCKS proxy he even can't connect to any server, the eMule port test says TCP isn't reachable.

    All other services (POP3, surfing, ICQ) work fine. What's wrong?

    PS: Is there any documentation available where all this is clearly explained with EXAMPLES? The Astaro documentation just tells how to use things but not whatfor.

    eMule and Astaro work just fine. See the Howto on DNAT, it tells all.
