i've been successfully accessing two different OWA 2003 servers for several months through a simple https pf rule; no Web-DAV. i happen to be the server admin for one of the two sites and as i recall the default OWA 2003was https.
Thanks for the help. Looks like I'll have to figure out how to get it running on https. When setting up the Exchange server we followed steps found in Google Groups but ended up loosing all OWA, at least I know now that's the way we for sure need to go.
If you would like an official guide on how to set up RPC over HTTP for Exchange 2003 and Outlook 2003 check this link from Microsoft: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;840255 Other than that OWA only needs port 443 open to work over SSL.
Hi, I think AaronGenter is right about WebDav part. There are two ways to solve this problem. 1. Dont use WebDav (Since it is a security risk - vulnerabilities) 2. Use SSL as other people have told u.
