Can Astaro Do "One-Armed-Routing"?

I am trying to figure out if Astaro is able to work usiing only one interface. I am aware of the fact that this severly limits the usefullness of a firewall to do this, but I am looking at using the machine mostly for a proxy and DNS server anyway.

My question is simple: will Astaro handle the requests to it and its requests to the Internet going over the same interface? I have seen multpile cheaper systems do this without issues, and I'm quite sure it'll work with Astaro, but I just want to be sure.

    this shoud be no problem, allmost all features wil work over one interface [:)]

    "One-Armed-Routing" is a bit of a misnomer, since it would no longer actually be a router with just one interface. ASL is not really the right product to use if what you want is just a proxy machine with a single NIC, connected on your internal LAN. I would suggest using a general purpose Linux distribution instead, such as Suse or Fedora Core. This would allow you to use the machine for additional duties as well, such as running a Samba file server and print spooler.
