Was having difficulty sending email through ASL 5.1 our mail server wasn't able to connect to anything, could see it looking for remote mail server but couldn't resolve...added a filter to allow outgoing port 25 from mail server, also added a masq for internal addresses to the external address...now the mail server is able to connect and negotiate and gets to the transfer complete but then doesn't disconnect from the remote mail server...I have no idea what it is waiting for, ASL is not letting through whatever it is and so the connection times out after the set time. The message doesn't arrive...Also packet filter shows no incoming packet attempts only outgoing is this normal? Anyone have any ideas?
