NAT and Masq is it needed

No, but to get access to HTTPS pages, you should use SNAT or Masquerading.

How does this need to be setup for HTTPS?  I thought the HTTP Proxy looked after HTTPS as well?  We are having difficulty accessing HTTPS pages...we cannot access hotmail accounts for one example.    Have requested support from Astaro on this one, but if someone here knows the answer so much the better!!!

Try to create the following SNAT rule:

Source address: Internal network
Service: HTTPS
Change Source to: WAN Address

Internal network -> All / HTTPS   WAN (Address)   None

there is no need for nat/masq when using the http proxy in standard or auth mode,
there is only one exeption if u set it to transparent mode, transparent mode can't handle https so u would need a masq/packet filter rule for that.

I tried the SNAT rule but that didn't work [:(]
