I have made a packetfiler-rule named ICQ/AIM port 5190 and allowed it access from any to any !! doesn't work ????
+ an masquerade-rule for service ISQ/AIM (my defined service) from 'any ->all/all' , still nothing ...
Also I am having big difficulties accessing my FTP-server on my internal network, all I get is a unknown host whenever I try to connect, there I have a packetfilter-rule 'any->my-ftp-server', service FTP and a NAT-rule any->external(adress)/FTP and dst-translation to my-ftp-server ????
All and any help with this would be most appreciated

I suddenly had a flash !!!
Could it be some rules in the intrusion detection system that is causing my ftp-server to be unreachable !!
Or do I need some plugin or something when I am usin passive
FTP-mode ????
Problem solved, I needed to use both the FTP-Service aswell as the FTP-CONTROL service and set rules for them both for this to work ????? STRANGE .....
