Packet Filter rules - ACK bit

Hi, I've recently installed ASL 5. The O'Reilly book 'Building Internet Firewalls' gives example packet filter rules and discusses the use of the ACK bit to filter incoming connections ie. if someone attempts to connect from the outside the first packet will not have the ACK bit set.  Is it possible to set up explicit rules like this in ASL?
Thanks
