[5.027] Examples of setting up QOS?

I am trying to setup qos for VOIP and my Vonage bridge which cannont be set to a static ip address, but I set an address perm under Astaro dhcp server for its mac address.  Its confusing that I have to setup a "rule" under the packet filter for the traffic and qos, because I can understand a rule to allow outgoing and tag it high priority, but how do I allow incoming high without opening a whole in the firewall?  
I don't really want to create a rule to allow incoming traffic, just shape it!

    Never mind, I spend a good 5 hours setting up my packet filters to reflect a more secure network, than a lazy mans, and it becomes more apparent to me.  It looks like now its working just fine and when someone makes a call it drops to the appropriate level.

    It's important to remember that only the uplink (outgoing) traffic is shaped (traffic is sent at different rates depending on the QOS rules).  The Downlink is throttled (traffic could be dropped if needed to satisfy yourdownlink QOS).  VOIP (I also use vonage) is defintely affected by a lack of uplink BW.  You did it exactly correct:  Assign a static DHCP Lease for the VOIP Adapter, create a rule that allows all traffic from it and puts it in the high priority queue.  Talk away.  Since I use some P2P clients which are difficult to parameterize with rules, I made the default my lowest queue and then added rules for ports 80,443 (medium), and 22 (high).
