I have the follwoing setup:
I have http, https, ntp, ntp asynch, dns and ping and tracert setup as a high priority service group
I have my gaming server, communications server and dx ports set up as a medium priority service group
I have ftp, smtp, ssh set al a low priority service group
I have the QOs turned on in the netwoark adapter and have the upload set for 350 kilobits which is lower than the 360 i average.
I have the high priority service group as the top rule in the packet filter set to allow high priority
I have the medium priority set as the second rule as allow medium priority
I have the low priority set as the thrid rule as allow low priority
When i start an ftp upload the gaming serever gets robbed of its bandwidth. Also http surfing becomes very sluggish. I havee rebiult the rules completly as this was a import from v4. The QOS is not working. Any ideas? If you need more information please ask.
It worked great under v4.
