Range of IPs

If you can find a netmask that matches your range, you can do it with one network definition.

Otherwise, you can do it as a GROUP of network defs.

[/ QUOTE ]Netmasks work on the power of 2 principle. It is therefore not possible to make a netmask for the range 1 - 25, but it is very easy to make a netmask for the range 0 - 31.

As an example, the address range 10.0.0.0 to 10.0.0.31 is defined by the netmask 255.255.255.224.
This can also be written as 10.0.0.0/27.

A way to set a precise range in ASL would be very useful.

I've been using masks but it's not ideal.
