Performance Drop on Speed Tests

Disabling the IPS makes a big difference on INT to DMZ on my home network (100mbit).

I've also noticed some latency on the internet when IPS is enabled.

My ASL box is a LOT slower than yours though.

You can also try turning off some of the IPS rules and see if that helps.

Also make sure you've entered the QOS parameters correctly if you're using it, and check the MTU size from your ISP.

Thank you for the suggestions.  I did some bittorrent downloads and was basically getting close to the full 7 megabits per second downstream that my ISP supports.  As a result, I don't think that Astaro is liimiting my real world bandwidth, regardless of what the test said.  Thanks again.

Astaro is not limiting you the tester is.  Goto dslreports.com and try there over 200 testers there.
