I would like to know about packet filters I don't understand how they work. I created 3 networks a lan a wan and a dmz. This setup is mainly for me to learn more about firewalls and packet filters. I have my dmz on 192.168.5 and my lan on 192.168.10. I created a packet filter rule that said any traffice from dmz should be able to get into the lan. This rule is not working at all. Can sometell me how to get this to work. I know the dmz is not to touch the lan but theres nothing in mine but a testbox.
