Test Throughput

I would like to test the throughput of my router in packets/second (pps). How would I go about doing that?

No, i guess I didn't think I needed Google to understand Astaro. Shame on me for thinking that Astaro might have something internal. Oh well.

The only way to test THROUGHPUT is to have a sender on one side of the firewall and a receiver on the other.

It would be impossible for the firewall to test it's own throughput.

Thanks, I'll give it a try. I just wanted to see how many packets per minute my router can handle. I want to benchmark it against a Cisco 2621XM router.
