Can't get DCC working

Hello to all,
like the opic says, i can't get dcc working.
sending doesn't interesst me, i only want to
be able to recieve packets.
when some got settings that work, it would be nice
when you post them.
i use mIRC as a client

i already tried:
- dcc and server connection over socks
- dcc and server over http proxy
- let the server recieve my intern/external ip
- a dnat/snat rule (all to intenet address with service xdcc (port 1990-1994) no source change, no service change to my local machine)
- with dcc and irc enabled in packet filter rules for the local machine

i always get timeouts when trying to recieve something, but normally one of the above options should work

i read a few posts about it, but nothing helped me to solve my problem

    So, i got it working. Here you can read what i did, if someone needs it.

    What i did was activating the socks proxy with auth
    and let my internal network use it.
    then i installed the program sockscap on my workstation
    on which i want to use dcc. then i entered my socks proxy
    settings in the programm sockscap and added mirc to sockscap
    so that it runs over the socks proxy.
    in mirc i used the lookup method normal and dcc ports 1024-65535 and on firewall settings nothing is insert. this works, becouse it is tunneld through the socks proxy anyway.
