Is it possible to bond multiple ADSL lines to provide greater bandwith? Using Astaro with multiple LAN cards connected to multiple ASDL routers. Professional Version - Release 5.019
We just tried to connect our Astaro to two different DSL-lines. The problem is, that it only accepts one DSL-interface in the network configuration. A possible solution would be to use two seperate DSL-routers and connect the Astaro to these two routers or to connect one line directly to the DSL and the second line to an extra DSL-router. Is it then still possible to use features such as QoS or LoadBalancing? I think so, but I am not sure about that.
I just realized the problem with the default gateway. Since I don't have the skill to modify the Astaro, I have to use an external device or two Astaros. Do you know a german vendor of a router with two WAN interfaces?

[/ QUOTE ] there are some routers which support loadbalancing by using more than one static route with different next hops. This is often used on the ISP site for loadbalancing between 2 oder more dsl wan links to the same customer.

for ex. bintec.de (vpn access 25) has 2 wan ports and supports different kinds of loadbalancing.
