Time Restriction

time restrictions are ususally used in a corporate environment to secure against out of hours abuse

traffic per month is typically associated with ISP's that charge for bandwidth by data usage.

perhaps you could be clearer.

Hello, i've found this post and i have a similar situation. 

I want a to have a rule in my firewall to enable traffic between 8AM to 8PM and disable traffic the other time.

Or may be disable and enable  the external network card based on time.

Of course i don't want to do it manually, it has to be a programmed task.

Is there any way to do it with ASL 5?

To restrict all IP traffic is not possible yet. The packet filter configuration does not allow to set time-based rules. But you can restrict http access by using RADIUS authentication for a defined time. Look at www.astaro.com/kb for more informattion"
