User Authentication

Hi! I am new here. I'm wondering how to enable LDAP authentication? I'm lost with the manuals. Anyway, what I need to know is how to enter the following information:

domain name: epmsi.local
query user: queryuser@epmsi.local
password: thepassword

Once entered, how do I know if it's working?

    for what do you want to use ldap-auth? If its for the http-proxy switch it to user authentication mode and enter the proxy in your clients browser -> open a site and before its displayd you´ll be asked for username and password (like on some member sites ;-) ) enter your ldap user[:P]ass und you´ll see if it works.

    P.S.: you won´t be asked for user[:P]ass for every requestet site ;-)
