vlan interfaces

do vlan interfaces on a single physical interface count towards the 3 nic limit on the home user licensing?

check the  Announcments
and you can see, there is no more limitation for NICs  [;)]

Assuming he has version 5 though.

If your still running version 4, then yes, VLANS count towards your interface count.

It does in ASL v4, but not in ASL v5.
