I have got a question concerning the packetfilter-rules.
When i create a new rule to allow VPN (IPsec) traffic for a certain user, i can select in webconfig as source the Remote key-object belonging to this user. Now i want to understand how this is transfered into an IPtables rule. Following my understanding of IPtables it works only on the base of IP-addresses. Which IPtables syntax is created to allow the traffic that originates from a remote-key object?
It is just a theoretical problem but I would be very thankfull for any help on this!
