Astaro V5 - dynamic routing or bridgeing

Hi All,

Can anybody tell whether Astaro Security Linux (commercial version) supports dynamic routing? If so, what protocols does it support - BGP/OSPF/RIP/etc. Or does it only support Default Gateway and static routes.

Also does it support being a 'bridge' firewall - i.e. a 'transparent' firewall? Thus, if it does not support dynamic routes then I can just use a router to provide the dynamic routing functionality.

Astaro only supports Default gateway and static routes as far as I am aware.

i'm not sure about the transparent feature. It has the ability to proxy ARP packets but I don't think you can use it trasnparently like a watchgurad.

I could well be wrong though.

for security and design reasons Astaro Security Linux doesn't support any kind of routing protocols, sorry.
Bridging is also no option.
