Delayed write on Windows...

Hi..

When accessing (viewing/writing/reading) a Windows share in the DMZ zone from LAN, it's impossible to have more than one IP to connect to the same share?? - If i attempt this.. the delayed write error occurs...
If i attempt this whitout the astaro box, the is no problems...
Any ideas ? - Must be something with the NAT or ??

Have a look into the packet filter log. Are there any packets droped from that specific client IP?

Does the packet reaches the Windows-Server? Have you made a packetdump on the windows-Server?

you should also allow microsoft netbios of tcp/ip and to the dmz make sure you are allowing all the standard ports for file sharing (135 - 139 and 445)

Delayed write errors are often caused by bad NIC's.

You are possibly a victim of Astaro SPOOF protection. Please check the kernel log (packet filter log) for the expression 'SPOOF' - in case I am right search the board to find the solution
