terminal server

i have a terminal server connection trough asl to my windows server. when im connected to the server and i do a portscan from external to asl external address the terminal server connection hangs and disconnects. after few seconds i can login again.

    Are you scanning from the same IP as you are from when using TS?

    If yes, then it is quite reasonable why is this happening.
    FW recognizes portscanning from that IP, thats why it stops all trafic with that IP.

    Hi,

    sorry to bring this ol' thread back, but reading your reply, I was wondering, will all portscans be disconnected upon detection ? If not how to enable this ?

    guess you are talking about version 4, right? As far as I know the implementation of portscn detection has been changed in version 5 in a manner that portscans are being reported only but not blocked by the psd module anymore - or did I miss something [:S]
