Unresolved DSL_Extern

Just the second time I had the problem:

So my DSL line gets disconnected and gets renewed. This works fine!
But the DSL_EXTERN Interface on WebAdmin points to the old IP-Adress. My rules are wrong and no Internet Access is possible.

My Version is 5.001 on a P3 800 256MB
I´m very disappointed cause never had these problems on V4

    No replay...
    So I go into detail:

    My ISP disconnects after 24hours. ASL does reconnect very fine!
    Problem is that in WebAdmin the DSL_Extern Inteface leaves unresolved. In the Interface menu it is shown DOWN.

    But if I go to console I see that there´s an PPP0 Device with works. I tested PING.

    What´s wrong? Is it a known failure of ASL5.001 ?

    You should still take in consider, that v5 is not *GOLD* yet, so it is not recomended to be used in production enviroment. Please give Astaro team time to come finish  their work.

    Got similar problems with a cable link, and other threads cover this item already, what i do for now, Version 5 is still in beta test, is to disable administrational support (the green/red lamps) next to the external interface entry, then to enable it again, ASL reconfigures everything and in the end gets new DHCP info and changes the operational status to UP.

    Hello,

    I know that V5 is not Gold. Just updated to V5.003. Hope this will fix that. 
    This was no negative on Astaro, only a hint.
    Just wanted the poeple to know...
