Emule, Kazaa and Astaro V4

Hi everyone, 
Does anybody know how to set up Astaro V4 to work with programms siuch as KazaaLite? I activated my Socks 5 server, but KazaaLite is not able to connect. There are some other programs that don´t work (emule for example). I think that Astaro blocks the ports of such programsms? Can anybody help me? Thanx for your answers!!! [:S]

    Everything is blocked by default you have to open allowable ports. For instance what is the port range for the Kazza service ? 

    You would have define the port range in "services" 
    whatever that may be and then allow it....

    By doing a dnat/snat 
    from any to external_interface service what ever you made in the definitons (kazza) 

    and then allow it in the packet filter.... 

     Kazza makes a primary outgoing connection on TCP port 1214. Then subsequent incoming connections must be allowed for the connection to work.

    We then need to create a Kazaa protocol definition. 

    Find out what ports that Kazza uses and make the rules to allow it to the network that you want to access it...

    I use eMule and here is my setup.  Define an eMule service(Definitions>Services) "Mule   tcp/udp   1:65535   4661:4673"  You can get away with only TCP port 4661 but some of the new technology for eMule(Kademlia) uses other ports.  I will presume you have a network defined in Definitions>Networks for the computer using eMule named, for instance, "MyComp"

    Then in Network>NAT/Masquerading set up a rule as follows if you Masquerade: 
    Rule Type: DNAT/SNAT
    PACKETS TO MATCH
    Source Address - :No Change: , Destination Address - External_Interface , Service - "eMule"
    Change Source to: No Change
    Change Destination to: "MyComp" , Service Destination: No Change

    This works fine and I get many connections.
