Router behind ASL

Hello,

we´ve got a DSL-Router behind ASL. 

I cannot reach the router. Even there is no rule to block the traffic it is not possible to get the webmanagement of the router. In the Live Log i cann see that the packets are dropped. I dont know where to look for fix it. [:(]

Anynone an idea ?

    In general, ASL works as DENY ALL principle. So if you see packets dropped, you should add corresponding ALLOW rule.

    Try first putting ANY ANY ALLOW as 1st rule, once it works, redefine to be more accurate. Don't forget to remove the ALLOW ALL rule!

    In addition, you might have NAT issue, but let's check the packet filter first.

    Check the interface settings of your ASL. Do you want to reach the router from the ASL or the network behind. If you mean the network, you have to add a masquerading rule and check, if icmp forwarding is turned on. In the interface settings, set the IP of the router as the dafault gateway and note, ASL only supports ONE default gateway.
