Problem with Downloading email... and routing...

Sorry for the mess of problems I seem to be having but I am having some real issues with the firewall.

1. Email problems that I cannot find any resolution for.  What is happening is the common (seemingly) error 0x800ccc0f message detailing that the server terminated the connection.  The mail server is MDaemon and I have not been able to find a single document on the server's site that details the machine is blocking due to numerous connections requesting pop mail on the same IP.

I searched the forums and none of the solutions found have helped me.  I am not using the proxy pop but rather a SMTP/POP server that is located outside of the network.  the download works just fine when one person is requesting the mail but craps out once we get two or more.  In a company this size we have over 80 people check their mail in the next 5 minutes so this is becoming problematic.  

2.  I cannot figure out what happened to my WebAdmin.  Everything was going just fine prior to seeing an error stating that the "Login Daemon needs to get restarted to gain access to the webadmin".  Once I restarted the server, I lost the webadmin portion of the firewall and now all I get is "Internal server error".  Ugh!

Since I cant get into the webadmin and this flavor of linux isnt familiar to me, I cant figure out much of the systems specs.  I think I am using astaro 4 but I am not 100% sure which sub version under that.  

Help!  Does anyone know of a fix for this email problem??  I can figure out the webadmin portion but the company is email-less at the moment and thats less then acceptable as you can imagine.

    I will be coming up with some ideas, but for a situation like this you should be getting on the horn with a competent "Solution Partner"; these boards are not great for fast answers such as you need now!

    What it sounds like is the POP server outside your network does not 'like' seeing different mailboxes being accessed from the same IP (the firewall). Can you call whoever is maintaining that server and see if they can adjust it to tolerate that?

    For the webadmin issue, I would reinstall, using 4.016 ISO. Hope you have a backup, or can quickly recreate your settings.

    You didn't say: has the webadmin been working for some time, or is this a new install? If it's a new install, then we can narrow it down to your settings...
