firswt of all since DAP uses multiple downloads ASL's proxy is not going to reconsititue the download since that is done at your computer and therefore cannot be cached....the technology that allows you to get the screaming downloads effectivly breaks a caching proxie's ability to do its job....
you can configure http proxy or socks proxy in dap settings. also http or socks proxy must be activated in asl. i use flashget with socks and it works great.
I'm currious as to why you'd want to use a download accelerator? I've had nothing but trouble with them including strange network problems and most are riddled with spyware (I'm not sure about the one your using though).
DAP is full of spyware..hate to tell you that..jsut look in google..[[:)]] Getright is not infected with spyware..there is also ffreshdevices.com which has spyware free accelerators..[[:)]]
