SMTP outgoing mail

hi @ all,
i'm using ASL v4 and i'd like to configure smtp outgoing connection.
I need to send mail from internal mailserver to any using DSL connection and i need to accept incoming mail only for mydomain.com

rules setting:
1) INTERNAL_NET  Any(services)  any(destination) allow
2) MAIL_SRV_IP     smtp(service)  any(destination) allow
3) any                    smtp(service) MAIL_SRV_IP(dest) allow

SMTP proxy enable allow incoming for mydomain.com

Now, this is my problem:
I'm able to get incoming mail from xxx@yahoo.com to myaccount@mydomain.com

..but  i can't  reply!
why ???

i get this msg error from my mailserver ( lotus domino ):  
NO msg trasferred to xxxx@yahoo.com  via smtp: server not responding

I'm using  USER AUTHENTICATION

does my_mail_server need to auth to ASL ?
or open outgoing DNS rule ?
or sometng else ??

    mydomain.com  ( eg. moremusic.com ) is what i've wrote under smtp proxy setting in smtp routes table.


    my mailserver was already in allowed network.

    any other suggestion ????

    From what you said above, the Lotus Notes can send mail out now, no?

    As for the test, you're now doing

    HELO moremusic.com
    MAIL FROM: test@moremusic.com

    right? And you're telnetting from the LAN or DMZ, right? Then it should work...

    1) i'm telnetting from LAN
    2) when i try to test smtp relay ASL say:

    ..RCPT TO: hell_bd@yahoo.com
    550 RELAY NOT PERMITTED

    and i can't receive any mail ...

    so what goes wrong ? what i forget ?

    The RCPT TO won't matter;
    it doesn't like who you say you are on the MAIL FROM;
    either you entered it wrong on Astaro or you are not typing the same domain name as what is listed on the Firewall settings...
