Limiting number of outgoing connections...

I'm currently "experimenting" with honeynets and wanted to use astaro 4.0 as my incoming firewall. Is there a way to limit the number of outgoing connections from the honeypot pc's? Once that limit is reached, I would like to stop both incoming and outgoing for that particular honeypot.

    Certainly not stock. But if you are a capable, careful, and responsible Linux coder, you can have the rules dynamically updated (along with numerous other settings that are kept in various configuration files) upon specific accounting/log thresholds. That can be discussed further in the Hackers forum...
