Correct me if I'm wrong but if an RBL check times out it is ignored? I've noticed on my internal server (MailScanner/Sendmail) that some of the RBLs will time out. Config is to ignore it after 7 seconds. Worse case is the mail comes through when it might otherwise be blacklisted. That is how I hope ASL is configured. You would otherwise loose occasional mail for a variety of connectivity problems at the RBL.
think the problem isn't a timeout but relays.osirusoft.com reports all checked addresses as positives. Xeno advised some days ago to remove osirusoft from the smtp configuration.
