I think I'm getting something very basic wrong here.
I have an Astaro machine with two interfaces, eth0 connected via crossover to one ethernet port on my vmware workstation (and thus acting as the private network for a red hat 9 and win2k3 vmware session) and eth1 connected into my 192.168.0.0/24 network with a DHCP server. The Astaro machine gets its IP address on eth1 from DHCP, and runs a DHCP server on eth0.
So, eth0=192.168.101.0/24
an, eth1=192.168.0.0/24
Now, with rules in place to allow 192.168.101.0/24 to ssh, http, https, ftp, ftp-control and DNS out, and with a DNAT rule in place, it works. However, how do I make it a straight router, with no masq or DNAT/SNAT?
Thanks,
