Hi, I have been trying to setup a FTP connection though the ASL v4 but have had no luck. is there a simple rule or configuration that some one can help me with.
I am trying to connect to a FTP server to update my website Using dreamweaver. I have read that i could add a target service in the http proxie to allow ftp. I have done that and now i can connect to the server but i cannot get a reply back. Dreamweaver keeps "waiting for server"....... So assume that i have managed to open a way out but still no way back in as i could not connect before.

Are you using active or passive ftp? Active FTP is sometimes problematic with routers/firewalls. The incoming connection on port 20 is blocked. Look at your logs. I'm not sure if ASL is set up to account for the return incoming connection.
