failover

we have a chillywall failover set, when you down one box the second takes over, but the clients from the inside network are not able to connect. So statefull failover does not work, arp table still holds mac from failed box. When is a fix going to be ready, or a solution like OpenHSRP? Any help with this would be great...jim

interesting, we looked into HA as well but in our case everything is hooked up to our D-LINK DES-3624 Switch(es) and they seem to prevent this problem.

Thanks for the info, we are going to do another test, we have a cisco 2900xl on the outside side and a 3com switch on the inside, might be some tweaking we can do to the arp ttl to solve it..
