Releasing DHCP leases

Hi, I have the DHCP server running, but I would like to delete some leases that have been issued becuase they are no longer needed. How do I do that?

Hello Teren,

Navigate to /var/chroot-dhcps/etc/dhcpd.conf-default. From there, you can modify the lease options. You must also stop and restart dhcpd service.

What are you supposed to edit in there? The lease times are fine, but they never actually release them.

There the leases are written in.
chroot-dhcps/var/state/dhcp/dhcpd.leases
Maybe you can simply edit this file.
