NIC immer wieder down :-((

Hallo,

habe folgendes Problem:

Nachdem der Rechner einige Stunden wunderbar läuft, bricht die DSL-Verbindung zu T-Online immer ab und es wird nicht neu connected. 
Ich bin echt ratlos, möglicher Weise liegt es an Emule, obwohl ich die max. Verbindungen schon ganz drastisch gesenkt hab.
Hat alles nicht geholfen, das NIC ist nach einigen Stunden immer down und connected sich nicht neu.
Ich hoffe dass hier auch ein paar Deutsch sprechen und mir vielleicht sogar weiterhelfen können....

    I understand that your mother language is german; as it is mine slovene and others dutch, spanish, chinese or even english.
    But due to abillitie to help each other we have to keep users boar in one language and this is to some well known reasons english! Doesn't metter how bad your english, you should noramally understand something and also be able to write some words. If you manydged to install Astaro (which has only ENGLISH user interface), then you should be also able to write your problem in English.

    I will not translate your question, because you are not the irst on this board who had similar problems. Just do searc on board and you will find some threads about this problem (maybe  this one  can help you!  [;)] )

    thx, but it is not really easy to discribe the problem in detail in another language...
    Ok, I've read you link, so it ssems to be a software error from astaro!?
    I think it is not good, why are there no updates for?
    I really think astaro is one of the best firewalls for home users, it was hard enough to get it run for a newbie, but it works - till it goes offline after a few hours, so i am very satisfied that there is such a problem now....

    I think i have to change to another firewall.... [:(]

    did anyone already change the pppoe driver in version 4??
    does it work? is that the problem?

    there are some other users reporting the same problem you are facing now.
    End of last week I have announced a patched PPPoE module in the hacker
    section. If you are used to linux you may try it - if you need further help look
    at the thread

    hi,

    i changed the pppoe file, but the problem still is there....

    I will study the log files and hope to find something....
