Static routes

Hello,

I'am using ASL 4.0.0.9 and have the following problem:
Newly added static routes are not showing up in routing table
Also the new static route don't work.
Known problem ?? Anybody same problem ??, Solutions ??

Usually means you are specifying a gateway IP that isn't in a subnet that ASL has as local. Route determines the proper interface based on the GW IP you specify, otherwise the route won't show or be inserted into the kernel.

The gateway i specify, is a device on the other side of a VPN connection. local = 10.3.x.x other side = 10.1.x.x.

That is your problem. All routes must specify a GW within a local subnet. Can't get anywhere without first hitting a nearby router. Maybe specify more details of what you are trying to do.
