QoS with ADSL, query.

With a split speed connection on ADSL, (mine is 256KB down and 64KB up).

What should I enter for the amount of bandwidth on the NIC ?
256 or 64 ?

I'm guessing 64 ?

QoS is only possible on outgoing traffic!
So 64 would be the right choise for me!

I repeat. depends.
If you wanna shape download speed, you must use your incoming bw. SInce download traffic is 'outgoing' from LAN nic, you can shape it.
