Load Balance WAN Connections

I have two ISP's (one is a Cable provider, and the other is a DSL provider).  I would like to setup a BGP-like configuration utilizing Astaro.  Basically, load balance my outbound connections over both lines.

Has anyone successfully achieved this?  Any documentation?  Thanks.

    Just set up a such a configuration, but added a router.

    basically I set up the ASL in a NET  NET configuration and bought an Allnet ALL1297 - DSL loadbalancing Router(very cheap).  works great.  many nice features and easy to configure.

    one minus on the router is it has only 1 firewall.  I have 2 ASLs on my internal side, and when establishing a VPN , I can only route packets to 1 of the ASLs and not both.

    otherwise great product for the price, webservers on 1 ASL, mail servers on the other, and me in the middle getting as much bandwidth as i need

    If you really want to load balance two WAN connections and have the money go to Nexland's web site http://www.nexland.com/turbo.cfm
    They sell a product that will load balance two WAN circuits and give you POTS or ISDN backup in case your two primary circuits fail, Symantec also sells a rebadge version of this known as the 200R

    As far as I know, both Symantec and Nexland have issues with the load balance and failover.  Basically, what they do is PING a DNS server, and if one is offline, it "fail's over" to the other line.  Also, from reports I have seen, the failover period is very slow.

    But, thanks for the suggestion.

    Just to let you all know, I have spoken with my Astaro contact, and he believes the next generation *should* have this feature.
