smtp relay & ip literals

Hello everybody,

It seems the smtp proxy doesn't accept email sent with ip literals (ex : [email="postmaster@[xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx]"]postmaster@[xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx][/email], somebody could confirm or explain how to configure this ?

Is it also possible to forward any mail delivered to the firwall ip ?

    confirmed, the current version doesn't support IP literals. This will be changed
    in one of the coming Up2Dates. (postmaster only)

    Thanks for your quick answer.

    I found a problem with pop3 proxying, some mail, for an undiscovered reason, block the account pop reading.

    The client (tested Outlook, Mozilla (Mac/Pc)) stop retrieving message when a such mail is encountered and don't retrieve the other with an error (client side).

    What i saw about those mail ?
    all of them are in html, some of them contain image (but no webBug), some of them are very very long and on one line, some of them are generated from a mass mailling software made by kletel (http://www.kletel.com), others are made with Outlook (Mac/Pc) with crappy html... really strange.

    What did i test, i create a fake account on our proxyied mail server forward on this account one of those strange mail, then try to retrieve from external/internal/dmz.

    I can only check the account from a client based on the mail server host or in our dmz, no way from the internal, no way from the external (mean wait, wait, wait, stop with error message).

    Thanks for any hint about (Buffer OverrFlow ??).
