netbios names over vpn

hi there,

i got a vpn with "allow all" from both sides. they are on different ip ranges: 192.168.5. and 192.168.4

is it possible to route netbios names between them? cause tapeware only wants to login to the tapeware server identified by netbios name...

    The best way is to have a wins server, in order to get names not on the local net to be resolved. 
    If you have a nt/win2k server on the local net, enable wins on it and put the wins server ip on the clients.
