pop3 problem

i have asl2.0.20 and internet--asl--mailserver (nated)
The problem ocurs when any mail client try obtain the message list (35 or more) the mailserver response winsock error 10053.....this is a ASL problem

    Other than that you might like to connect the "problem" interface to a "hub" and then use a PC
    running some LAN Analyser software and observe the behavior of the ethernet traffic.

    How far away, in network terms is the problem site? What is your RTT for a 1500 byte packet?

      ping -n -s 1500 -c 100 

    What percentage loss do you get? What is the delay?
    When you are transferring data how long does a 1Mb file take to transfer?

    Perhaps you have a latency issue. You might want to search for "tcp tuning" and "latency" at google.

    I don't know how technical you are, but this is a useful document to read,
