Snmp though astaro! How?

I want to graph a device that is connected at another location. However the packets do not seem to pass the firewall.

Help please.

    Could you be more specific with your setup?
    I monitor several 'internet' hosts via snmp on a local monitoring server behind ASL, and all works ok.

    3 hints :
    * could you ping the remote host you want to monitor?
    * could you connect to another service that's running on it ?
    * could you 'snmpwalk' on the localhost that's going to be monitored ?

    I want to monitor an adsl-router from a local machine. The local machine can access webpages of the target device (routing is ok). The localmachine can not access the snmp data.

    From the local machine I also mrtg the counters of the ASL.
