How to change Interface speed?

Hi I'm facing a Problem!
I used ASL 3.2xx as a portfilter to seperate internal Networks. First configuration was that I connected the external Interface with a crossover cable to the router which handles the WAN. Now there is a second router for a new WAN. I installed a switch (unmanaged) an the performance  decreased rapidly to one destination.
One router has only a ethernet interface, and the other one has a fast ethernet interface, ASL has a Gigabit Interface. 
Now the ASL has 100Mbit one router has 100Mbit and one only 10Mbit full dplx. 
It looks like the old router has problems with this configuration.
Is there a possibility to set the ASL interface to 10Mbit full dplx.
Havent found a suitable option for 'ifconfig'.

    OK. 
    Don't need help anymore, because the router seems to be the problem. 
    The router has a lot of late collisions and errors on its LAN port.
    But it would be nice to change the port state for troubleshooting.

    From a support perspective it would be very bad to have that switch  
     
    In version 4 mii-diag is available which works with most NICs. It can be
    used to force speedsettings. But I think it won't work with GB NICs.

    Per default all interfaces are set to auto negotiation which is good for
    99,9% of ASL installations.

    this means that there is no possibility to change the Interface settings in ASL 3.2XX ?

    Per default means that there should be the ability to change?

    I don't want to update to Ver. 4 only because this behavior.

    Maybe there is a way to change interface settings in V 3.2XX.
