Astaro as Router

Hi!

I am currently testing Astaro 4.002 in our company's network.

At the moment wie have 2 router machines. One from LAN to DMZ and one from DMZ to Internet.

I'm now trying to use Astaro as the Router between the LAN and the DMZ. Later it will also be the gateway to the internet.

I'd now like to know whether I have to change some settings or just put Astaro between the networks. As far as I've seen, Astaro change the routing table according to the interfaces.

Maybe someone can help...

THoehne,

for directly attached networks extra routing settings are not nescessary.
You could easily replace one of the routers with ASL. You would need at
least three interfaces and of course according packet filter rules since
everything is denied which isn't explicitely allowed.
