dhcp / mdw

Why is it that mdw is reporting my old dhcp IP to be my current IP address?

See the following from my current mdwlog:
-rw-------   1 root     root       150802 Feb 17 09:01 mdwlog
dhcpcd: your IP address = 24.106.47.140

I have already leased a new IP long ago and is working. However, this appears to be causing some problem with the firewall. That is when someone try to connect to that old IP, I can't get to the internet.

My temporary solution is to stop and restart mdw and only then I am able to get to the internet again.

Any suggestion or comments is appreciated.
