Hi,

what configuration is needed to fetch email by fetchmail to my local mail-server ?
mail-server's IP adress ist 192.168.2.9.
I've set a nat rule from intern (192.168.2.0) --> ALL / ALL
I've tried some packet filter rules like
intern - pop3 - any - allow or
intern - any - any - allow

But fetchmail only reports :
client/server synchronization error while fetching from pop.gmx.net
fetchmail: Query status=7 (ERROR)

    Hi,

    Here's what I got and it seems to work well. I use Outlookaaarrgg!...to retrieve my mails(pop3)
    from my mail server:

    Masquerade: eth0_interface__  -> ext_interface

    Packet Filter:
    private_network -> pop3 -> mail_server

    Caution: Ensure you have configured your firewall and mail server correctly before opening your mail to the world. Lest you enjoy receiving or serving spam(ers).
