M$ SQL service and new worm

To combat the new worm that hit the Internet so hard today, I would like to edit the defined SQL services on TCP/UDP 1433-1434 to be come only TCP 1433-1434. How can I achieve editing the static services ? TIA

    hi,

    everything that is not allowed is forbidden .. so why add a static rule ?

    the firewall should drop that port as default. or did you open that port ?

    Most simply, you can just create a new rule, call it MS-SQL2 and substitue it for  the static service you're using now. Otherwise do a "find / -name sservice*" at the shell prompt. You're looking for a file called sservice or sservices
