FTP masquearding

Hello Everyone.

Would anyone be kind enough to post their rule and definition setups for a working FTP server masquerade. I'm on a dynamic IP for the external interface (ADSL) and cannot use port 21. I configure the FTP server to use another port and set the passive port range. I've defined these in ASL but cannot get it to work.
I've spent time reading all the posts, but to no avail. I use ver 3.2x

    I've run into the same situation and have been unsuccessful in getting things working. Please fill me in as well.

    Haven't tried this on astaro yet (Well... Defined it right now, but don't have access to a machine that can connect to it to test it).

    Anyways I *think* you can edit the file /usr/local/fw/firewall_on.sh and locate the line that says "$IN ip_conntrack_ftp" and just add " ports=21,XX,XXX" there. Then a quick run of "/etc/rc.d/mdw restart" should enable the new settings.

    PS: You can only define 8 different ports.
    PPS: This was done on Astaro beta 3.383, so might be different on the production version.

    Well, I'm confused why there is a web interface if you need to delve into VI to change stuff....
