Drop/Reject Rules don't work,,

ping/tracert and all other ICMP stuff is in a seperate dialog WebAdmin->Packet Filter->ICMP. Also, the order of the rules is important, the first rule matching the traffic will be applied. Put your deny rules on top or make your allow rules more specific.

    Hello,

    I am using Astaro at home on a home license and I cannot get this firewall to block incoming Ping, Trace route or most importantly NetBIOS requests. My rules are setup as follows.

    Allows on top
    1-> 5
    Deny's are on the bottom
    5-> 10

    I have used the default services in Astaro IE: (NetBIOS) (ping) ETC... and I have even created my own yet the firewall does not block this traffic. I am running version 3.209, with the updates. Has anyone else had this problem? Am I missing something?
