DHCP in different subnet

Hi,

I'm running on ASL 2.xxx with 3 NIC's:
MZ  = 172.23.0.0/24
DMZ = 172.23.100.0/24
WAN = x.x.x.x/x

The rules allow all traffic from MZ to DMZ but not the other way. 
In the MZ i have all my workstations located and in the DMZ is a DHCP- Server running.

Now my problem:
How can i get my Workstations using the DHCP server in the DMZ. It works fine if I relocate the server from DMZ to the MZ. 
I also checked the Packet filter on the ASL during the startup of my workstation or when I did a ip-renew, no drops where seen.

do you have any experience using DHCP in a different subnet?

    Hi, I don't have any experiense with this and Astaro but I know this works with a Cisco router and a function called ip-helper.
    The problem is that bootp is sent to your broadcast address and you will have to get Astaro to pick this bootp packet up and redirect it to your dhcp server at your other subnet, don't think Astaro support this.
    Not much help, but this is how it works (I think)
